The American Heart Association (AMA) has created a new website called Start! to encourage people to start walking regularly for exercise. The AMA recommends that you work with your doctor to develop your exercise program, if you're a male over 40 or a female over 50.

A representative from the Visiting Nurse Association of Florida will be presenting a health program at the New River Library on Friday, September 4th, at 1:00pm. The program is called "Healthy Aging through Safety Awareness and Fall Prevention". Falls are not just the result of getting older.
